DOUG SCHOUTEN
Doug Schouten is an owner and agent of Schouten Insurance Agency. He graduated from Indiana University with a focus in Audio Engineering. Since then, he has excelled in sales and service roles within entertainment, manufacturing, and insurance industries. JoAnna and Doug opened their agency in 2020 with the goal to be an educational, service-focused resource to their local community; qualities that, based on their personal experiences, were lacking within the insurance industry.
Doug’s favorite part of the job is interacting with fellow small business owners and complementary industry professionals. He is grateful for the opportunity to pour his time and energy into initiatives that focus on strengthening the local community. Starting a business with his wife has allowed him a renewed focus on family, friends, and neighbors. You know, the important stuff!
